Certainly, his style is based on that of Carter Family and Roy Acuff, but the same Dad recognizes the influence that had on him even Hawkwind, Jonathan Richman and Johnny Cash. But what it sounds, this mystic preacher post-punk-country-gospel?
First and foremost, his music is built on its entry.
